If BlackRock were a country, it would be the third largest economy in the world, after the United States and China. A few days ago, he said: <a href=\"https:\/\/elpais.com\/economia\/negocios\/2023-04-22\/larry-fink-el-hombre-de-los-9-billones-de-dolares-el-mundo-esta-en-transicion-y-las-transiciones-son-aterradoras-desordenadas.html\">&#8220;The planet is in transition, and transitions are scary, messy&#8221;.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No one doubts the important changes we are facing in this new Digital Age<\/strong>. We analyse them in detail in this post: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moebiusconsulting.com\/business-agility-los-5-dominios-de-la-transformacion-digital-en-la-empresa\/\"><strong>Business Agility, the 5 domains of Digital Transformation in the company<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;It is the responsibility of executives to train their managers and executives in the skills needed to successfully lead a world in transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It may be a &#8220;scary&#8221; transition, but I will try in this post to do my bit to &#8220;bring order&#8221; with a <strong>synthesis of organisational and business trends that we work on with our clients in the upskilling process<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We manage competence development based on 3 families of organisational and business trends:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How we work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How we lead teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How we engage with customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Let us look in more detail at the trends associated with each development axis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New ways of working<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hybrid\/flexible work environments: <\/strong>Professionals perform their work, not only from the physical premises of their company, but also from their homes, or from temporary workplaces (e.g. Knowmads).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Business Agility<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Adaptability and speed. <\/strong>Organisations become accustomed to working in an environment of much more continuous change, due to rapid transformations in the market, customers, technology, competitors, etc. They learn to adapt and transform themselves quickly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trial and error: <\/strong>Projects, initiatives and activities are developed with a &#8220;quick and cheap&#8221; approach, carrying out continuous tests with clients or interlocutors, incorporating feedback and learning, and continuously improving.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Delivering value in short periods of time. <\/strong>Teams are accustomed to making small deliveries of value, in a short period of time, in order to test with customers\/users (trial and error). Wrong approaches or errors are corrected early, minimising cost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Learnability &amp; Resilience: <\/strong>Professionals incorporate the ability to learn continuously, depending on the rapid evolution of products, customers, markets, ways of organising. They internalise the ability to be resilient and adaptable to the uncertainty of continuous and sometimes radical changes (<em>dealing with uncertainties<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Digital Literacy: <\/strong>Technology in the workplace. Professionals are constantly adopting new technologies, and the way they change the way they work (metaverse, big data, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Team Leadership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>High Performance Teams.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>No silos, cross-functional, collaborative teams. <\/strong>Projects carried out by transversal teams, end to end, where successfully leading very different profiles is essential to achieve collaboration, and for the result to be greater than the sum of the parts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diversity management in inclusive teams. <\/strong>Teams are formed transversally (not in silos), in addition to generating the greatest possible diversity, which enhances complementarity and high performance. Leaders must know how to lead very diverse profiles, for a common goal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sustainability and CSR<\/strong>. Society is asking organisations to make a greater commitment to aspects such as sustainability, social responsibility, etc. Leaders need to internalise these values and seek congruence in the day-to-day and strategic aspects of their teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Developing the Employee Experience in Teams. <\/strong>In a world where attracting and retaining talent is complex, leaders need to develop talent (ability to coach) and generate a good employee experience in the teams&#8217; own daily interactions (at a micro level). Consciously generating a good Employee Experience makes it easier to create a good Customer Experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Customer relations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Customer Centricity. <\/strong>Business and customers are becoming more unpredictable and constantly evolving, so the only way to compete successfully is to ensure that the entire organisation and its employees (however far removed from customer contact) put the customer and user, and their deepest needs, at the centre of every process and initiative.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Customer Experience: Using advanced ways of empathising with and understanding customers, adopting a mindset that ensures consistently generating pleasantly memorable relationships and experiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Big Data: To better understand the customer in an individualised way, and make Data Based predictive business decisions, adapted to each customer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Omnichannel commercial relations<\/strong>. Relations with customers and interlocutors are carried out individually, indistinctly, through the different channels, depending on commercial efficiency, phase of the relationship, customer preferences, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Changing Value Proposition: <\/strong>Practitioners have the flexibility to internalise that their organisation will be changing the value proposition (and\/or the way it is delivered) that they offer to their customers, or to society (from product to service, from curing or preventing disease, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m sure the list could be extended.
